A great many conservatories across Gloucestershire were built with polycarbonate or early single-glazed roofs. They are loud in the rain, freezing between November and March, and unbearable in July. The frames and base are usually sound — it is only the roof that has failed to keep up.
Replacing that roof with an insulated solid system, or a hybrid that keeps a glazed lantern section for daylight, is by some distance the cheapest way to get a usable room back. Most installations are completed in two to five days on the existing base and frames, with no groundworks and no planning application in the majority of cases.
Everything we quote, we survey, install and guarantee ourselves. If you need a repair to something we did not fit, we are not the right people — and we will say so on the phone rather than waste your time.

In most cases yes. If the frames and base are sound they will usually carry a new insulated roof. We check this during the survey before quoting, because occasionally the existing structure is not up to the additional load.
Usually two to five days on site. There are no groundworks and the room stays weathertight throughout.
