Every one is a warm roof. The right choice depends on the room, the existing structure and how much light you want to keep.
Icoroof
The most popular style, originally designed as a replacement roof. Choose Icoroof for a straightforward conservatory transformation that keeps a traditional feel.
Icoview
A glass roof system for when light matters most. A sleek, modern design that floods the room with natural light, with the thermal performance to keep it comfortable through the year.
Icospan
Advanced insulation for larger spaces. Reduces heat loss and improves energy efficiency, which helps with running costs and keeps the indoor temperature steady where a bigger room would otherwise struggle.
Ico600
A low pitch warm roof for bungalows, or anywhere the existing structure will not allow the roof pitch to be raised. A genuine warm roof by design, and often the answer where a standard tiled roof is not an option.
Ventilation built into the design
Icotherm includes clever ventilation that prevents any risk of condensation and stops damp building up inside the roof.
This matters more than it sounds. A solid roof fitted badly traps moisture, and the damage shows up years later inside the structure where nobody can see it. Designed-in ventilation is the difference between a roof that lasts and one that quietly rots.
If someone quotes you a solid conservatory roof without mentioning ventilation or building regulations, ask them why.

A shingle profile in five colours: black, brown, brindle red, red and grey. The safe choice for matching most Gloucestershire brickwork.

Icotherm questions, answered
Most can, but not all. It depends on the existing frames and base, and on the roof pitch. That is exactly what the free survey establishes — and if your conservatory will not take one safely, we will tell you rather than sell you one.
That is what the Ico600 low pitch system was designed for. It works where the existing structure will not allow the pitch to be increased, which rules out a standard tiled roof.
No. An Icotherm roof can include Velux windows, panoramic glass panels or a lantern, so you keep daylight while losing the heat and glare. Icoview is the option to ask about if light is your priority.
Ventilation is designed into the system specifically to prevent condensation and stop damp building up inside the roof. Most condensation problems we see come from an old glazed roof or a poorly fitted solid one.
Replacing a conservatory roof with a solid or tiled roof usually does involve building control, because you are changing the structure and its thermal performance. We will explain what your specific job needs at the survey — it is part of the quote, not a surprise afterwards.
Most replacement roofs are a matter of days rather than weeks, though it depends on the size and whether any structural work is needed. You will get realistic dates in writing before we start.
