We have been building conservatories across Gloucestershire for over thirty years, and in that time the single thing that separates a room people love from a room they regret is the roof. Get the glazing specification right for the way the garden faces and the space works all year. Get it wrong and you have an expensive greenhouse.
That is why every enquiry starts with a survey rather than a price list. We look at the aspect, the existing eaves height, the state of the base and the drainage, then talk through how you actually intend to use the room — a dining space, a home office, a snug off the kitchen — before we recommend a roof and frame system.
Everything we quote, we survey, install and guarantee ourselves. If you need a repair to something we did not fit, we are not the right people — and we will say so on the phone rather than waste your time.

We measure properly, check the base, drainage and access, and discuss what will genuinely work on your elevation.

Our own teams fit the project, we register it with FENSA where applicable, and Mike inspects the finished job before we invoice.

Cost depends on size, roof specification, frame material and groundworks, so we do not publish a headline price we would have to walk back later. What we will do is give you an indicative range on the phone once we understand the project, then a fixed written quote after the survey.
Most conservatories in Gloucestershire fall under permitted development, but conservation areas, listed buildings and larger builds are treated differently. We check the constraints during the survey and tell you honestly whether an application is needed.
Only if the roof and glass are specified badly. We use solar-control and low-emissivity glazing, insulated pelmets, and solid or hybrid roofs where the orientation demands it. The specification is chosen around your garden’s aspect, not a standard package.
Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs we do. Replacing a polycarbonate or single-glazed roof with a solid or hybrid system usually takes a few days and turns an unusable room back into a usable one at a fraction of the cost of rebuilding.
Most conservatories take one to three weeks on site once the base is ready, depending on size, roof type and groundworks. You get an indicative programme with the written quote and confirmed dates before materials are ordered.
No. We are a design-and-install company. We do not take on repair-only work and we do not supply materials for other installers to fit. Everything we quote, we install and guarantee ourselves.
